Leah approaches therapy with the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. Using compassion, warmth, and curiosity, Leah creates a space where clients can confidently explore, learn to recognize, and live in their own values and beliefs.
Leah specializes in working with couples and individuals who may be experiencing difficulties in communicating and navigating life transitions. Leah also works with folks who are looking to nurture and grow their sense of Self-Love. She works from a trauma-informed and systemic background.
Leah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Michigan State University (Go Green). She then graduated from Adler University with a Masters Degree in Couple & Family Therapy. Leah has research experience in parenting,attachment, and Narrative Therapy. She believes keeping up to date with current research in the mental health field is vital in providing lasting and ethical treatment for clients.
When Leah is not working with clients, she will be at the park with her two Australian Shepherds, reading a fantasy book, or visiting family in Michigan.
