DANIELLE ARNTSON,
MFT Graduate Intern
Danielle believes in the transformative and healing power of the therapeutic relationship. She creates a safe and empowering space for clients to explore their inner worlds and overcome challenges that keep them stuck. As a first-generation Ukrainian-American, Danielle deeply values how our intersecting cultural identities shape our experiences. Her approach is rooted in vulnerability, honesty, and collaboration. She is passionate about helping others see they are capable of change and works with clients to regain control of their lives.
Danielle has experience in case management addressing complex emotional dysregulation. She is interested in working with clients experiencing trauma, navigating life transitions, and struggling with self-sabotaging behaviors that manifest in unconscious patterns and relationships. She is particularly passionate about supporting teens, emerging adults, and new parents as they navigate significant life changes.
Danielle is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University. She holds her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University, where she worked as a research assistant. Danielle offers a deep understanding of self-harm recovery, drawing from her research on effective communication strategies to help clients overcome non-suicidal self-injury behaviors. When not in session, Danielle enjoys spending time with her pets, trying new restaurants, and walks by the lake.
