BRIDGET IACCINO,

LCSW, TEEN SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Bridget empowers clients to recognize that through conscious awareness, acceptance, and compassion, everything they need to heal is already within. She provides clients with a supportive and trauma-informed space to reconnect with their inner selves and healing abilities. Her approach to client care is warm, empathic and caring. Bridget is passionate about helping clients bring awareness to their unhealthy patterns and transform them into sustainable change. Her belief is that through the power of the therapeutic relationship clients can reduce shame to find their unique version of health and well being.

Bridget utilizes a systemic lens to therapy, which understands the important interplay between human behavior and past and current environmental influences including family, friends, and culture. In doing so she seeks to bring clients in deeper awareness of their experiences, core values, and authentic self.

Bridget has experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and adults. She specializes in helping individuals cope with difficult life adjustments, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. Bridget incorporates a variety of approaches to therapy based on her clients needs. Some of her orientations to therapy include Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a foundation in Humanistic Therapy. In addition to her work in private practice, she works with adults and children within schools and the foster care system. Bridget’s work is also greatly impacted by her experience in advocating for individuals experiencing mental illness within the criminal justice system.

Bridget attended Loyola University Chicago where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health.
